Anniversary dates for your diary
Talitha and friends community events
January to September 2020
We will be running four or five, Talitha and Friends community events in the Home Counties, working with schools, churches, and local supporters to deliver the message of Talitha Arts to new supporters. If you live in or near to Eastbourne, Colchester, Norwich, London or Weybridge, and you would like to be involved, then we would love to hear from you. We will publish the dates in our January newsletter and online at: https://www.talitha.org.uk/2019/11/01/20th-anniversary-preparations-in-full-flow/
Online art auction
We would like to run an online art auction online in 2020 and need inspiration, art and help to know how we might do that. Do please get in touch if that is you! Contact email@example.com

We would love your help in doing some ‘fun fundraising‘ – and we are producing a small Talitha Arts fundraising pack to help you to do that. It’s a guide to running your own events, such as coffee mornings, cake sales, gin evenings, black tie friends dinners, and so on. If you would like this online fundraising pack, please do get in touch by contacting Alastair McIver at firstname.lastname@example.org
“Talitha and Friends” relaunch
We are excited to be re-launching Talitha and friends from this month. In addition to naming our aforementioned events next year with this branding, we would like to invite those of you who don’t support us monthly, to consider doing so during this 10th Anniversary year, with a gift of £10 per month.
If you are a tax payer, of course, we have a Gift Aid form that you can sign online and return to us, increasing your gift by £2.
Do please consider setting up a standing order to support our work from January 1st 2020. We love welcoming new supporters and we are looking to grow our number of friends. A monthly donation of £10 per month, plus Gift Aid, would, after one year, help us to fund one third of the termly costs of attending a ‘safe house’ or hostel where we run our therapeutic arts for traumatised, trafficked and abused women. Your ongoing support would help our budgeting immensely.

Finally, we have two supporters – one in this country and one in the United States, who would like to raise funds for us through the art products they produce. One is a quiltmaker and the other is ceramic and jewellery specialist. A percentage of their sales goes to Talitha Arts. If you run a creative arts business which isn’t yet attached to a charity, could you consider supporting Talitha Arts Anniversary appeal fund from January 1st 2020? We would be happy to promote your products through our newsletter and/or online. If this is of interest, contact Alastair McIver at email@example.com
