Becky Gibbs
Therapeutic Arts Director
Becky joined Talitha in January 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the creative arts. Trained at Guildford School of Acting, Becky has dedicated her career to theatre and creative facilitation, particularly in outreach community settings. Her extensive background includes working closely with vulnerable individuals and groups, such as young refugees, women in refuge, and those in dementia and mental health settings. Through her work, she has witnessed first-hand the transformative power of art, drama, and creative expression in these spaces.
Passionate about the power of integrated art forms, Becky believes in their ability to foster confidence, empowerment, and hope. She advocates for the restorative potential of creative arts, providing individuals with a means to express their feelings and experiences creatively.
At Talitha, Becky oversees therapeutic arts programmes and external partnerships, ensuring that the charity continues to make a positive impact on those it serves. With her expertise and dedication, Becky continues to make a significant impact to support marginalised communities, both on the ground leading and managing workshops and behind the scenes in partnership and programme building with a strategic and collaborative mindset
