Jenna Thorne, CMgr FCMI

Jenna initially joined Talitha Arts as a practitioner before stepping into the core team as Associate Artistic Director in January 2020, and advancing to Artistic Director in July 2020.

With a rich background in the performing arts, Jenna blends her creative roots with corporate strategy and organizational leadership to foster transformation within communities. Alongside her leadership at Talitha, she works in Learning & Development for the Methodist Church's Learning Network, where she designs and delivers bespoke training for individuals and organizations. Her extensive experience across the creative arts and ministry sectors includes providing innovative resources for churches, as well as previously running the LifeWorks Creative Arts Centre.

An experienced workshop practitioner, Jenna holds a BA from the University of Toronto and a Master of Fine Arts from East 15 Acting School (University of Essex). She is also a Chartered Manager Fellow and is currently completing her MBA, focusing her dissertation on how trauma-informed expressive arts interventions in the workplace impact personal well-being and team resilience.
