To celebrate the opening of their new building, Jersey Methodist Chapel ran a fantastic fundraising event on behalf of Talitha.
Tea and cakes were served in their Church Hall and a short sketch, telling a hope-filled story of a fictitious girl helped by Talitha, was written and performed by children from the Junior Church. The children collected donations, ran a second-hand toy stall, and if that wasn’t enough to be getting on with, Global Seesaw Handicrafts from India were sold and 25% of the profits were donated to Talitha too.
An amazing £450 was raised in two hours! Huge thanks to everyone involved in making the event such a fantastic success and for supporting Talitha!
