The Two Point Six Challenge, Talitha, and You!

Updated: Jul 10, 2020

Many key sectors in society have taken a financial hit as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, none more so, perhaps than the charity sector, which delivers so many front line services in so many needy areas of life. One such charity is Talitha Arts, which delivers therapeutic arts recovery programmes to survivors of domestic abuse (which, sadly, is on the increase during lockdown), trafficked women and those suffering with dementia.

Thankfully, to help the charity sector at this time, including those, like Talitha Arts (who would have lost funding as a result of the postponement of the London Marathon), the folk at Virgin Giving have, in conjunction with CAF, set up the #TwoPointSixChallenge to invite you to support charities with imaginative ways of linking donations to the number 26 – maybe a cycle ride, a 2.6 km walk around the local park, or for family members perhaps, 26 cup cakes.

Whatever your initiative, do think about supporting this great initiative and charitable work, having a bit of fun and/or exercise along the way. Visit the Two Point Six Challenge for more details of how you can support Talitha Arts. Thank you for your support.
