A Time to Mourn & (now) A Time to Dance - An Evening of Poems with Special Guests

Updated: Jan 20, 2022

Join us for an intimate evening of poetry centred around the themes of reflection, renewal and restoration to bring in the new year.

We can't deny that the past two years have been challenging in new and unprecedented ways. Adapting to change and loss is not an easy process, and can often leave us feeling isolated in our attempts. However, we have been forced to transform ourselves constantly in this global situation of uncertainty—and this requires great courage. We build resilience with each struggle we overcome and learn to navigate ourselves through harsh circumstances.

With the new year comes new possibilities. We are not yet certain of how things will develop, but we can take this opportunity to reflect and gather our emotions. Like with any trial there are also many triumphs - reasons to restore our hope.

In this vein, we are thrilled to announce—and to invite you to—a very special evening we have coming up in February...A Time to Mourn & (now) A Time to Dance will be an intimate evening of poems performed by a host of special (and famous!) guests - all in support of Talitha Arts!
